Language and Methods of Mathematics

The course introduces students to the basics of mathematical logic and symbolic language. It focuses on working with statements, types of proofs, and the use of computers in mathematics.

Mathematics for Finance and Insurance

In this course, students will learn about mathematical procedures in financial mathematics and life insurance, such as interest rates, cash flows, pensions, investment decisions, bonds, portfolio analysis, and insurance premium and reserve calculations.

Computation Statistic

The STAV course introduces students to the graphical processing and presentation of statistical data using specialized software. The course also includes an introduction to the principles and use of simulation models.

Introduction to Mathematical Computing

In this course, students will learn the basics of algorithms in numerical mathematics, analysis, and geometry, including computational errors and finite precision arithmetic. The course also covers the use of software such as Matlab and Mathematica.

Statistical Analysis 2

In SA2, students learn to formulate and interpret time series models and understand methods for estimating their parameters. Emphasis is placed on the practical use of models in economic applications.

Probability and Statistics A

The course introduces students to the fundamentals of probability and mathematical statistics. It focuses on random variables, distributions, descriptive statistics, confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing.

Multivariate Statistical Methods

The MSM course focuses on multidimensional statistical methods and their practical application in the analysis of real data. The course includes examples of data processing in Matlab and Python.

Mathematical Models in Econometrics

The MME course introduces students to the creation and analysis of econometric models. They will learn to formulate regression models, perform diagnostics, and interpret results.
