In this course, students will learn about mathematical procedures in financial mathematics and life insurance, such as interest rates, cash flows, pensions, investment decisions, bonds, portfolio analysis, and insurance premium and reserve calculations.
The STAV course introduces students to the graphical processing and presentation of statistical data using specialized software. The course also includes an introduction to the principles and use of simulation models.
