AIM OF THE SUBJECT:

The aim is to help the student master the basic terminology of general psychology and personality psychology. Improve their knowledge in the field of analysis of cognitive processes and personality structure. Learn to apply the acquired knowledge in solving practical pedagogical-psychological problems.

STUDENT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

The student should have general knowledge in the scope of the basics of social sciences, and basic orientation in psychological terminology at the level of secondary school curriculum. The ability to independently search for information in professional publications is also expected.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

After completing the course, the student demonstrates the ability to define the subject of general psychology, define basic psychological processes, states, and properties, and explain the functioning of individual cognitive processes. Furthermore, he/she is able to define test and clinical psychological methods, and clarify the structure of personality.
